NATIONAL HISTORY DAY

THIS YEAR's THEME- LEADERSHIP AND LEGACY IN HISTORY

National History Day makes history come alive for students by engaging them in the discovery of the historical, cultural and social experiences of the past. Through hands-on experiences and presentations, today's kids are better able to inform the present and shape the future. NHD inspires children through exciting competitions and transforms teaching through project-based curriculum and instruction.

THIS IS A GREAT OPPURTUNTIY FOR ANY STUDENTS WILLING TO PUSH THEMSELVES.

DURING MY TENURE AS TEACHER WE HAVE EXPANDED THIS PROGRAM TO MAKE IT INTERESTING AND A DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE FOR THE STUDENTS. THIS AMAZING RESERACH PROJECT OFFERS STUDENTS THE CHANCES TO VISIT MULTIPLE COLLEGES, ACCESS INFORMATION THAT ISN'T NORMALLY AVAILABLE TO THEM, BE TAUGHT HOW TO CONDUCT RESEARCH IN A LARGER COMPACITY, AND GAIN THE SKILL OF RESEARCH, WHICH IS PRICELESS.
